@Kristy - Thanks :) Andy is a great example of someone living their dream. What I would recommend is to just pick a place that sounds interesting or inspiring to you and go. Sometimes we waste too much time just trying to make a decision, or to make the perfect choice. You are young and can travel to places more than once, so get a plane ticket and then see if you like it! When I really like a place, I go back. If I don't feel the "I really want to be here" vibe, I move on. I think you will know once you get there, and just remember to keep your itinerary flexible so you can go as you please :)

@Anil - For sure. I've had to get a lot of help, and continue to. I couldn't have done this adventure without a lot of help from friends, colleagues, and even the support of my clients. There are a lot of great people that are free to offer advice, you just can't be afraid to ask!

@Sharon - I think believing in ourselves is something we could all do a bit more of... it is so easy to get intimidated by what everyone else has done, and think that we have to measure up to that in some way. I'm trying to learn to just take things one step at a time and be excited about what I have done, then try to build the confidence to roll out the next project. Thanks for commenting!

Nice to find out more about Andy - believing in yourself is crucial when starting a new venture. It sounds like a cliche, but it's so true.

It's good to hear Andy talk about getting help since many people just starting out feel intimated or hold back from asking for it. The location independent/traveler community is generally very supportive and there's a lot of help available out there.

Nice interview! I love reading about other people doing the working nomad thing because I always get good ideas and advice for the places I might want to go next. For me, Scotland's a bit too much like home (my dad is Scottish and I've spent a lot of time there in the past) for me to want to live there right now, even though I love it. Amsterdam, on the other hand, would be somewhere I would love to spend some time in.
