loved the article and am very excited about your breakthrough. i have to admit when i read "law of attraction" in the first sentence i initially thought "Brooke?!?!". i'm not a huge fan of The Secret and most LoA teachings but you didn't take it that way. in fact, at the end you summed it up beautifully...

When we can go into our own lives and take responsibility for our reactions, we free up space for better patterns.

folks tend to blame external sources for their own reactions/actions and in doing so abdicate their own power.

good one, brooke

Great article, Brooke!

I specially like the final quote by James Allen. I am working on and getting better at being calm, and it is true.

My dad was a very calm man. I don't recall EVER seeing him angry, and he was a man of inner strength. I aspire to be as strong and as calm as him. Yet he was very active in the community and had a great sense of humor.
